Custom bent (made to order) u-bolts
Husky Spring can supply over 4000 u-bolt types on a made to order same day of order basis. The rod we stock comes in 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", 1", and 1 1/8" diameters. Thread diameters of 9/16" are Grade 5 equivalent tensile strength while thread diameters 5/8" and greater are grade 8 equivalent. The rod we stock is rolled thread material in even inch lengths from 8" to 56" long. Note: On rolled thread rod the nonthreaded area measures less than the thread diameter because the thread forming process presses the thread onto the rod as opposes to cutting thread which is uses on some other bolt types. The u-bolt making process involves choosing the necessary length and diameter and bending it over the correct die shape and adding deep nuts and thick hardened washers. 2. Distance between the legs (inside measure)
3. Leg length measured from highest point inside the bend to end of leg
