How to measure u-bolts:
U-bolts can be accurately made by measurement and description but only if the measurements are made in this specified way.
1. Thread diameter (A): (Be sure to measure at the threaded part because rolled thread u-bolts are larger at the thread than the unthreaded area)
2. Leg length (C): ( Measure from the end of the leg to the outside top of the bend)
3. Between the leg measurement (B): (Measure between the legs at the threaded area and not center to center and not outside to outside)
4. Bend Shape: Round (like a half circle), Semiround (there are several profiles of semiround which usually relate to the make and model of vehicle), or Square (which is straight across the top of the bend with small radius corners)
