LIFT TORSION KEY SET
Many vehicles with front torsion bars use a cast iron key to provide a lever allowing adjustment of front end height by tightening or loosening an adjustor bolt. The key has an internal hex which slips over the back end of the torsion bar which is hex in shape. Lift torsion keys index the starting angle slightly differently and will start at approximately the highest ride height possible with the OEM keys but allow 2"+ of increase height when adjusted to their maximum. This provides an easy way to achieve 2"+ of increased front height for appearance or tire fitment reasons. Many times longer shocks will be needed to avoid topping out the shocks if a max adjustment is needed. By using a lift torsion key set on the front end and blocks, add-a-leafs or lift springs on the rear, a 2"+ vehicle lift can be achieved inexpensively and without extensive component replacement.
